But scratch the glossy surface of our education system and the picture turns seriously bleak.

Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim turned down the reports on Tuesday that Pakistan was going to export liquor to India.
While responding to queries in ‘Question Hour’ in the Upper House of the Parliament, the minister said that Pakistan was not importing liquor from India, however, liquor could be exported to India if allowed.

US officials have admitted that after the November 24 border intrusion by Nato forces, a drone strike in the tribal areas was cancelled when Pakistan was asked but refused permission for it, American newspaper The Washington Post has reported.
