Dav Whatmore in Pakistan to Finalize Details as Head Coach of Pakistan Cricket Team. Dav Whatmore the former Sri Lanka and Bangladesh coach, has arrived in Lahore to meet with the PCB and discuss what is believed to be the terms of his appointment as Pakistan’s head coach. Whatmore hasbeen in talks with the PCB and recently resigned as coach of Kolkata Knight Riders, but an agreement has to be yet to be finalised.

WBA Decided to Have Rematch of Mair Khan and Lamont Peterson, Amir Khan’s promoter said on Saturday the WBA had informed him it will order a rematch with American Lamont Peterson following the British boxer’s controversial defeat on a split decision in their world title fight in Washington last month.
Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir, jailed in London over a spot-fixing scandal, is expected to be released later this month. Sources in London said that Amir will be released after half of his jail term ends on February 3 as per the British laws.
